PATIENTS SUFFER AS GOVERNMENT REMAINS MUM OVER STRIKE

As the nurses’ strike enters day 13 today, hundreds of patients are being forced to seek treatment in private hospitals.   A spot check in several public hospitals in Western, Coast and Central provinces revealed that nurses had not reported to work. SETH PANYAKO from the nurses union has accused the government of laxity in registering their union.
